Eurowings: a festive brand activation at Heathrow Airport

Challenge

With prime slots at London Heathrow, Eurowings sought to create an engaging brand activation to celebrate Official Christmas Jumper Day while driving social media engagement and increasing brand awareness. The goal was to develop an experiential campaign that could be filmed and shared across digital platforms, showcasing the airline’s fun and festive spirit.

Solution

SWC Partnership designed an interactive campaign centred around Eurowings’ core message of “bringing people closer together” at Christmas. 

  • The challenge: passengers at Heathrow Airport were invited to team up and wrap a festive suitcase—while wearing a Eurowings-branded double Christmas jumper. 
  • The reward: Winners received free flights and a limited-edition Eurowings festive jumper. 
  • The host: Heart Radio presenter Sian Welby brought extra excitement, engaging participants and amplifying the activation’s reach. 

Results
