Q: Tell us your career history – the short version please!!

10+ years’ experience in predominantly B2B marketing, working across the mix – from direct marketing to events, print, email, brand, social, and everything in between. I’ve been lucky enough to work for some fantastic organisations, including a charity, healthcare company and even a children’s publishers. At a crossroads in my career in 2022, I leapt onto the agency side with SWC, and haven’t looked back since!

(You can read all about the switch here)

Q: Describe your current role at SWC

As an Account Manager at SWC Partnership, the marketing agency in Kent, I’m responsible for the day-to-day running of several accounts, ensuring first-class client service and project delivery. I also keep my finger on the pulse and share tactical opportunities with clients, helping them connect with their audience and generate leads through speedy, topical activity.

Q: What’s the best thing about working for SWC Partnership?

I have to say, the variety, and the people. (I can’t pick just one!) I love that one day I can be working on a creative tactical exposing controversial tech, and the next day I’m checking copy for an online Puppy club 🐶. Variety really is the spice of life! And when it comes to the team – SWC have worked hard to develop a truly special team DNA, and it shows. I get to work with this fun, supportive and talented bunch every day!

Q: Your favourite campaign you’ve worked on at SWC, and why?

Ooh that’s a tough one… I love working on new ideas with creatives, so anything the client hasn’t tried before – from a brand activation to a premium piece of collateral. It’s always a thrill to wow them with ideas, and then once developed, seeing it fly. Bigger Picture, a visually striking creative ad campaign for one of our tech clients, Teledyne FLIR, springs to mind. It ended up being one of their most successful campaigns ever on LinkedIn! I also loved working on a cat persona campaign which brought our feline friends’ personalities to life for one of Mars Petcare’s brands Natusan. They were used across digital comms including socials – the team & I had great fun developing them!

Q: Best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?

Say yes to opportunities that scare you.

Q: What’s your biggest motivation when working with a client?

I love being a safe pair of hands for clients. Building a relationship and track record to the point where they simply trust you to create great work and get things done, is a great feeling. Or as one client put it recently, “I love meetings with you guys, I can just relax and decompress!”

Q: One thing we didn’t know about you is…

When I was a kid I wanted to be Kylie Minogue. Still do, really.
